Routine Making Love Make Erection Stronger

Men who have difficulty maintaining their erection usually are less frequent sex. However, is it true that the frequency of having a low sex just makes the erection more sluggish?

Research on this was done in 2008 which followed 989 men aged 50.60 and 70 years for five years. Known men who make love less than once a week was twice the risk of suffering erectile dysfunction (ED), aka impotence. The less sex, the greater the risk of ED.

"The results of this study show that regular sex has an effect like regular exercise, which is maintaining functional capacity," the researchers wrote.

Indeed in the study was not mentioned whether masturbation can also maintain the sexual function of men. "It seems the effect will be the same because both sex and masturbation both protect the function of nerves and blood vessels that function in erections," says Juha Koskimaki, urologist.

Even so not all doctors agree that regular sex can prevent impotence. "Sex is good, masturbation is also good, but the concept that men should have sex to keep their erection function is still debatable," said Irwin Goldstein, director of sexual immorality in San Diego.

Experts agree that erection is the key to maintaining male sexual function. These erections can be done with or without sex. After all, every man has a spontaneous erection when they sleep. So, although not having sex most men actually already have prevention against the occurrence of ED.

Thanks a lot
